Dear Members,
Annual General Meeting (AGM) Sunday 29th January 2012 to be held at
Mill O’Mains Sheltered Housing Community Lounge 16 Foula Terrace Mill O’Mains DUNDEE DD4 9TB
You are cordially invited to the AGM of the Association which will be held in Dundee at the following times: -
Examiners Meeting: - 10.00am
Technical Meeting: - 11am – 1pm
Lunch approx: - 1pm – 2pm
General Meeting: - 2pm
Would all delegates to these meetings please take note of the following: -
1. Any existing member who wish to renew their membership, please complete the enclosed “Membership Form” making any necessary changes. A Membership Form MUST be completed for each individual renewal and be in the hands of the treasurer before or on the date of the AGM accompanied with the appropriate fee. Please do NOT use scraps of paper as a substitute when completing the Membership Form. 2.Any changes to the “Constitution & Rules” of the SOHDA should be sent, in writing, and be in the hands of the Secretary 14 days prior to the date of the AGM. A note of the change plus the rationale for the change should be stated within the letter. May I also remind members that any change to the Constitution & Rules requires a two thirds (2/3rds) majority of those present and entitled to vote? 3.Rule 16.2 will be fully and retrospectively implemented at the AGM in January 2012 re Panels. 4.The Annual “Christmas” Raffle will be held at the AGM 2012. To save time, the Marketing Convener would be very much obliged if members who have sold tickets were to have them folded and ready for the raffle. Raffle prizes will be greatly appreciated. 5.Lunches??? (TBC)
